Mandy Thompson

mandyMandy Thompson is a human services consultant with a unique skill set. She specialises in

  • strategy development and implementation
  • change management
  • enterprise development for individuals and organisations in the public and private sector.

Her experience extends across the not-for profit, private and public sectors:

  • current CEO of Althea Projects Inc. – a Family Support and Child Protection Service;
  • represented electorate of Townsville as a Member of the Queensland Legislative Assembly;
  • General Manager for the Townsville Fire WNBL Club, a national sporting team, and
  • numerous community development projects for government and not-for profit entities.

Mandy has high level negotiating, strategic positioning and media skills.  These skills come from many years board experience including her service on two Parliamentary committees:

  • Queensland Parliament Social Development Committee 2009 – 2011
  • Queensland Parliament Health and Disability Committee 2011 – 2012
